Long vehicle queues, inflated fares, supply restoration soon: Mumbai CNG issue explained

The Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) supply disruption in Maharashtra’s Mumbai and surrounding areas triggered long queues of autorickshaws, kaali peeli (black-yellow) taxis and other vehicles at CNG stations for the second day straight on Tuesday.

The CNG crisis in the city led to long queues of vehicles from early morning, with several drivers claiming that the wait time for refueling their vehicles has gone up to three to four hours from the usual 15 to 30 minutes, reported news agency PTI.
