Long queue at security checkpoints annoy air passengers
BENGALURU: Long queues at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in the City irked several passengers on Thursday morning as they had to spend more than an hour at the security checkpoints. The schedule of several flights were also affected as passengers were caught in the crowded screening counters.
“Unprecedented security measures at the airport. Requesting all passengers onboard today to reach at least 3 hours early,” read a post of Dineshotham Kumar on Twitter. “No escalators working due to a high security alert? Jammed up with humans everywhere.. will I board my flight!!!?,” another flier Divya Shori wondered as she was waiting in the queue.
