Kochi Water Metro ferries over 10,000 on Sunday with tourists making beeline for joyride
The newly inaugurated Kochi Water Metro service in Kerala began its commercial operation on Wednesday this week and has already gathered a footfall of over 10,000 people as of Sunday. Long queues were seen at various stations. Kerala government’s ambitious Kochi Water Metro service is the first of its kind in India and it was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 25th April.
