Kochi signs climate and energy covenant

Kochi: Kochi, along with six other Indian cities, has signed the Commitment for the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy. The covenant was signed during the first India – European Union Forum being organised in New Delhi on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Ahmadabad, Bhavnagar, Gandhi Nagar, Jamnagar, Junagadh and Vadodara are the other cities signed the GCOM commitment in the presence of Hardeep Singh Puri, minister for housing and urban affairs.
