Kerala: City educational institutions go solar
Kochi: Educational institutions in the city are taking the green path with many colleges and schools, both government/aided and unaided, now working on rooftop solar projects to decrease the dependence on conventional sources of energy and reduce carbon footprint. Also, several institutions are planning to increase the capacity of their existing solar projects and aim to become fully solar-powered.
Among the latest developments, around 11 government educational institutions, including Maharaja’s College, will soon launch rooftop solar projects within two months as part of the solar project worth 1MW capacity in
