Karnataka signs up with two chopper services for heli tourism
The State Government on Sunday signed MoUs with Thumby Aviation and Chipsan Aviation which will offer heli tourism services in Karnataka to domestic and international tourists.
The Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC), which signed the MoUs for a five-year period, will help the chopper service providers with government approvals, permits, certification and access to government helipads. It will also help the service providers in tie-ups with luxury hotels and resorts. The MoUs are part of the state’s heli tourism project.
The service providers who come on board will need to provide heli tourism services at the notified locations.
