JSW Energy zooms 7% as Q1 profit grows 166% YoY
Shares of JSW Energy NSE 0.85 % zoomed about 7 per cent in Friday’s trade after the company posted a 166 per cent year-on-year (YoY) jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 554.78 crore for the quarter ended June 2022.
The company had registered a net profit of Rs 208.6 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
Total revenue from operations increased to Rs 3,026 crore for the said quarter as against Rs 1,727.5 crore in June 2021.
