Jio-bp, TVS Motor to partner for EV charging infra

Chennai: Jio-bp and TVS Motor Company will collaborate to create a public EV charging infrastructure for electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers. This countrywide infrastructure will build on Jio-bp’s growing network in this space.
Under the proposed partnership, the customers of TVS electric vehicles will get access to the charging network of Jio-bp, which is also open to other vehicles.
The partnership aims to create a regular AC charging network and a DC fast-charging network. Both partners will “bring the best of their global learnings in electrification and apply them to the Indian market to create a differentiated customer experience,” the companies said in a statement.
