On May 30, 2018, Petroleum & Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) invited 9th round of bids for grant of authorization for laying, building, operating, expanding city gas distribution network (CGD) in 86 specified geographical areas (GA) across India. This included two districts of Haryana – Hisar (GA-17) and Jhajjar (GA-18). Entities with networth of Rs 75 crore for Hisar, and Rs 50 crore for Jhajjar, were eligible for bidding. An entity bidding for both the districts was required to have a networth of Rs 85 crore.
