Jewar Airport work on track, terminal to be inspired by Varanasi, Haridwar ghats

The first phase of Noida International Airport (NIA) is heading towards completion on time and a runway and a terminal will start functioning by 2024-end, officials said Tuesday. After the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts were awarded to Tata Projects Limited last year, earthwork, levelling and excavation work has been completed.

Officials said that over the next few months, several buildings will appear on the site, including passenger terminal buildings, office blocks, sewage and water treatment plants, and electrical substations.
