Jet may have to scale down flights
Leasors on Thursday grounded six more aircraft leased to Jet Airways on account of non-payment of lease rentals. Seven aircraft were grounded on Wednesday for the same reason.
This may result in the cancellation of a large number of flights in the domestic and some international sectors.
The grounding of six aircraft comes even as the airline’s board approved a bank-led provisional resolution plan (BLPRP).
