Naresh Goyal, chairman and promoter of Jet Airways, in a letter to his employees on Monday said that the situation at the carrier, though complex, has his personal attention and a resolution process will take a further short time to conclude.
He assured his employees that talks with Etihad are still warm. “I am personally committed to have the process completed as soon as possible and restore much needed stability to our operations at the earliest. Meanwhile, talks with our Strategic Partner Etihad Airways and lenders led by SBI are ongoing. We are in constant dialogue with them.”
He referred to a recent comment from SBI chairman Rajnish Kumar about a conclusion to Jet’s resolution plan within this week.
