Jet Airways CEO Vinay Dube resigns with immediate effect
The string of high-level departures from Jet Airways continues. The airline today said that CEO Vinay Dube has resigned with immediate effect “due to personal reasons”. “We wish to inform you that Mr. Vinay Dube, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, vide his letter dated 14 May 2019, has resigned from the services of the company with immediate effect due to personal reasons,” Jet Airways said in a communication to stock exchanges.
Dube’s resignation comes just a day after chief financial officer (CFO) and deputy chief executive officer (deputy CEO) Amit Agarwal quit from his positions with effect from yesterday.
The airline had also said that Agarwal resigned due to “personal reasons”.
