Italy’s Snam takes first steps into India with hydrogen, gas deals

NEW DELHI: Italy’s Snam, the operator of Europe’s largest natural gas transmission network, on Friday announced multiple green energy partnerships with Adani group, Indian Oil and Greenko, paving way for its entry into the Indian market.
Snam’s agreement with the Adani group envisages exploration of the hydrogen value chain in India and internationally, as well as the development of biogas and biomethane, and of low-carbon mobility, the Italian company said in a statement.
