IRCTC cancels 193 trains today: Check your train status for Sept 8 here

The Indian Railways called off 193 trains on Thursday, September 8. Over 300 trains will not be operating at the right time which includes 35 source-changed trains, 40 short-terminated trains, 17 rescheduled trains and 32 diverted trains.

Train cancellations and diversions are common in India. Sometimes, it happens due to non-favourable weather conditions, while other times, maintenance and operational issues become the reason. In the monsoon season, many rail tracks get flooded by water, making it difficult to drive.
