IRCTC cancels 165 trains today, 29 Aug: Check your train status here
The Indian Railways cancelled 165 trains on Monday, August 29, till 9 am. A total of 20 trains have been partially cancelled, 18 trains have been rescheduled and 24 trains have been diverted from some of their stations.
The Railways have been facing regular problems in maintaining the proper schedule. As more than 180 trains are being affected on regular basis, it is a matter of concern for people moving from one place to another.
Why do trains get rescheduled or cancelled?
Trains get cancelled for many reasons. Despite being an efficient and safer medium to travel, rescheduling, cancellation and diversion of trains occur due to operational and maintenance issues and providing high-end services.
