IRB Infrastructure Developers set to bag contract for Mumbai-Pune Expressway again

MUMBAI: IRB Infrastructure DevelopersNSE -3.73 % is slated to win the contract for operating and collecting toll at Mumbai-Pune Expressway for a decade, after it emerged as the only player in the race on Tuesday for the bids invited by the state-run Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), according to sources close to the development.

MSRDC had floated a tender to appoint a toll collection agency for Mumbai-Pune Expressway after IRB Infrastructure’s contract to operate and maintain it came to an end after 15 years in August last year.
