IRB Infra rises 3% on receiving letter of award for Rs 1,755 crore NHAI order

New Delhi: Shares of highways infrastructure company IRB Infrastructure Developers rose 3 per cent in Monday’s trade after the company bagged an award from NHAI for executing a stretch of Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway at a cost of Rs 1,755 crore. With this order, the company’s order book now stands at Rs 13,755 crore, the company said in a BSE filing.

The company has received the letter of award from NHAI for hybrid annuity project under Bharatmala Pariyojana, the company said on Sunday, following July 29 announcement of being selected as a preferred bidder for the project.

Following the development, the stock rose 2.94 per cent to hit a high of Rs 124.30.
