Innovations in power sector displayed at ‘Bijli Utsav’

In a bid to commemorate India’s 75th year of independence, a “Bijli Utsav” was organized at the Government Engineering College in Sejbahar on Wednesday. Its theme was “Ujjwal Bharat, Ujjwal Bhavishya”.

The Union Ministry of Power and the Chhattisgarh government’s Energy Department jointly organized the event.

Documentary films were shown on the progress made in the power sector. A street play on the benefits provided by electricity in daily life was staged.
