Infra stocks under pressure as Maha reviews key projects

Mumbai: Shares of engineering and construction companies having major exposure to ongoing infrastructure projects in Maharashtra fell on Wednesday as investors got a scare after reports said the Maharashtra government was reviewing the infrastructure projects, expecting a situation like Andhra Pradesh in the making.

However, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said his government will not put on hold or stop any infrastructure project started by the earlier government.
