Influencer Kataria booked for smoking on flight
Social media influencer Bobby Kataria, who made headlines after a video of him smoking on a plane went viral is in legal trouble as an FIR has been registered against him. The Delhi Police, on Tuesday, August 16, filed an FIR against Bobby Kataria for smoking on a SpiceJet flight.
After the video went viral on social media with many demanding strict action and clarification, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia ordered an investigation into the matter. Kataria, a Gurugram based bodybuilder, has 6.3 lakh followers on Instagram.
Kataria was booked for alleged violation of security and safety measures based on a complaint filed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport Police Station on August 13 by Jasbir Singh, Manager Legal and Company Affairs of SpiceJet, they said.
