IndiGo’s Delhi-Doha flight diverted to Karachi, Pakistan due to medical emergency

IndiGo’s Delhi-Doha flight 6E-1736 was diverted to Karachi, Pakistan due to a passenger experiencing a medical emergency. According to reports, the passenger has now been declared dead on arrival. The passenger was identified as Abdullah, a Nigerian national who was around 60 years old.

The airline is currently making arrangements for the other passengers on the flight, in coordination with the relevant authorities, IndiGo said in a statement.

“Unfortunately, on arrival, the passenger was declared dead by the airport medical team,” the spokesperson said in a statement.
