New Delhi, May 27Aviation market leader IndiGo reported a whopping 401 per cent increase in its profit after tax ( PAT) for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2019, at Rs. 589.6 crore, against Rs. 117.6 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.
During the quarter ended March 31, 2019, the airline reported revenues of Rs. 7,883.3 crore from its operations, showing an increase of 35.9 per cent compared to the same period last year. Its total income for the quarter stood at Rs. 8,259.8 crore, a 35.5 per cent increase over the same period a year ago.
Passenger ticket revenues stood at Rs. 7,037.3 crore, having risen 40.2 per cent, while ancillary revenues were at Rs. 826.4 crore, an increase of 24.1 per cent over the year-ago period.
