IndiGo faces heat over ‘unsafe food’ incident on Delhi-Mumbai flight! FSSAI issues show cause notice – Here’s what happened

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has served a show cause notice to IndiGo, the country’s largest airline, in response to an incident involving the serving of unsafe food to a passenger.

The move comes after a worm was found in a sandwich served on a flight, prompting widespread concern. The incident occurred on flight 6E 6107 from Delhi to Mumbai on December 29.

Following the passenger’s revelation on social media, IndiGo issued an apology and assured a thorough examination of the matter. The video shared by the passenger, Kushboo Gupta, showed a worm in the sandwich served onboard the flight.
