IndiGo estimates over Rs 500 crore compensation payout after massive flight cancellations

IndiGo on Friday estimated its total compensation payout to be more than Rs 500 crores as the crisis-struck airline promised to pay customers whose flights were cancelled within 24 hours of departure time and those ‘severely’ stranded at certain airports. The flight disruptions that began on December 2 continued for a week.
