IndiGo CEO Ronojoy Dutta worries about low cost space getting crowded in India
India’s largest low cost carrier (LCC), IndiGo’s CEO Ronojoy Dutta stated that the low cost space is getting very crowded, with Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s Akasa is all set to make its debut early next year.
But the imminent expansion of the full service carrier (FSC) space following the Tata Group acquiring Air India and Dutta says, “India really has scope for a full service carrier”. It is exactly what the current market requires.
