IndiGo aircraft misses taxiway, delays operations at Delhi Airport briefly
An IndiGo aircraft encountered a mishap upon landing at the Delhi airport on Sunday morning, leading to the blockage of one runway for approximately 15 minutes. The A320 aircraft, operating flight 6E 2221, veered off course and reached the dead end of runway 28/10 after failing to locate the designated taxiway at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA). The incident caused a brief disruption in flight operations, impacting some scheduled flights. However, the situation was quickly addressed, with the aircraft towed to a parking bay by an IndiGo towing van.
