IndiGo A320neo flight to Singapore grounded due to technical snags

New Delhi: A Pratt & Whitney (PW) powered Airbus A320neo aircraft operated by IndiGo was grounded on Wednesday due to engine snags, the airline said in a statement on Thursday.

IndiGo’s flight 6E 19, which was flying from Mumbai to Singapore, had to be diverted to Nagpur due to a suspected oil leak, the airline said.

“The aircraft is currently undergoing technical inspection,” the airline said, adding that an alternate aircraft was arranged for the passengers to resume their journey after a delay of five hours.
