India’s aviation watchdog pulls up P&W for IndiGo engine failure incident

Following engine failure incidents with IndiGo aircraft, Indian aviation regulator DGCA has asked Pratt & Whitney (P&W) to issue a service bulletin in next 60 days with the fleet management action plan.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has demanded an urgent intervention regarding the Indigo incident from P&W and also advised it to identify the probable cause of HPT blade damage.
