Indian Railways: Woman gives birth on Kamayani Express in Madhya Pradesh; family names new born baby after train

In a remarkable incident, a 24-year-old woman gave birth to a baby girl on the Mumbai-Varanasi Kamayani Express in Madhya Pradesh’s Vidisha district. The unexpected delivery occurred in the early hours of Friday, leaving the family members overjoyed, prompting them to name the infant after the train itself.

According to Railway Protection Force (RPF) inspector Manju Mahobe, the woman, who was travelling with her husband from Nashik in Maharashtra to Satna in Madhya Pradesh, unexpectedly went into labour between Bhopal and Vidisha.
