Several trains heading to Delhi are experiencing delays on Sunday, primarily attributed to dense fog affecting several states in North India.
According to the statement issued by the Indian Railways, a total of 22 trains are arriving late in the Delhi area today (January 7) due to fog in several parts of India. It may be noted that the most prolonged delay reported for trains reaching Delhi is 06:30 hours.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts maximum and minimum temperatures in Delhi at 16 and 8 degrees Celsius, respectively. The national capital also observed shallow fog during the morning hours.
