Indian Air Force helicopter lands in Malerkotla school after glitch

Staff of a private school in Malerkotla were in for a surprise today when an Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter made an emergency landing in the ground on the premises.

After receiving information, the police from Amargarh and Malerkotla arrived at the scene to assist the IAF personnel. “I noticed a helicopter hovering over our school, and within minutes it landed in our ground. Initially, I was confused, but when I saw the IAF crew, I realised it was an Air Force helicopter. I met the pilot and informed him that he had landed the helicopter in a school ground,” said an employee.
