In LS, Opp raises voice against fuel price hike, seeks relief for people

The Lok Sabha on Thursday witnessed yet another walk-out of Opposition Congress and Trinamool Congress members who were protesting the continuous hike in fuel prices and demanding relief for consumers . From word go opposition members started the protest, carrying placards and shouting slogans in house against spiraling of fuel prices and sought that it be withdrawn to provide relief to consumers. The members shouted slogans against Modi -government for its alleged “anti-people” policies. Some of members were seen holding placards saying “ categorize SC community”. Speaker Om Birla said opportunities were given to opposition on four occasions in past in this session to raise issue and now they should go back to their seats and take part in proceedings.
