Sri Ganganagar has become the first city in India where both petrol and diesel now cost more than Rs 100 a litre.
Fresh hikes on Saturday by Oil Marketing Companies pushed the prices of diesel above the Rs 100-mark in Sri Ganganagar, a city located close to the India-Pakistan border.
Petrol now retails at Rs 107.23 a litre while diesel costs Rs 100.06 a litre in Sri Ganganagar.
