IIT Guwahati researchers develop technique to boost performance of rechargeable Lithium-ion battery used in Electric Vehicles

A team of researchers from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India has recently developed an advanced technique which can precisely estimate one of the most important battery internal states known as state of charge (SOC).

The research team consists of three members Gautam Sethia, Research Scholar, Dr. Sisir Kumar Nayak, Associate Professor, and Prof. Somanath Majhi, Professor. All of them are associated with the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, IIT Guwahati. The research findings are recently published in IEEE Transactions on Circuit and System I: Regular Papers.
