IGL Q3 Results: Profit rises by 42.3% to Rs 475.45 crore even as revenue drops by 4% on-year
Natural gas distribution company Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) on Thursday recorded its Q3FY24 profit at Rs 475.45 crore, up 42.3 per cent on-year in comparison to Rs 334.06 crore during the corresponding quarter of previous year, surpassing estimates. It posted revenue from operations at Rs 3,926.19 crore, down 4 per cent as against Rs 4,089.03 crore during the third quarter of FY23. According to a CNBC TV18 poll, IGL was expected to post Q3FY24 profit at Rs 454 crore and revenue was estimated at Rs 3,493 crore for the quarter ended December 2023.
