IATA Director General Willie Walsh on Tuesday said IndiGo appears to be “making progress” in restoring full operations after a week of widespread disruptions, while indicating that new flight duty norms may have contributed to the airline’s challenges.
India’s largest carrier has cancelled or delayed hundreds of flights over the past week, triggering regulatory scrutiny. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has set up a four-member panel to probe the disruptions.
