IAF’s aircraft tracking system close to induction

Nagpur: Acting on the experience from two recent accidents involving the AN-32 transport aircraft, where it became difficult to find the aircraft remains, the maintenance command of Indian Air Force (IAF) has developed a real-time location system to track flights. The IAF maintenance command has its headquarters at Nagpur, with base repair depots (BRDs) and other establishment under it located at various locations across the country.
