Hyderabad airport handles next generation temperature controlled cargo containers

NEW DELHI: Airport infra major GMR Group Thursday said its Hyderabad air cargo unit has become the first in India and South Asia to handle “Next Generation Envirotainer Releye® RLP Containers”, temperature-controlled air cargo containers. GMR Hyderabad Air Cargo (GHAC), a division of GMR Air Cargo and Aerospace Engineering Limited, said it handled a shipment using these containers.

GMR Hyderabad International Airport CEO Pradeep Panicker said: “We are pleased to partner with Envirotainer to introduce the advanced Releye® RLP containers in the India market, being the first one to do so.
