HT electricity consumers submit representation
KOCHI: Kerala HT & EHT Industrial Electricity Consumers’ Association has submitted a representation containing various suggestions that could help improve the industrial growth in the state to Electricity Minister K Krishnankutty. The recommendations included setting up of a single-window clearance system for renewable energy projects.
The representation submitted by AR Satheesh, president of the association wrote that Kerala Government should promote renewable energy projects, as they could bring down carbon foot print, Satheesh wrote. “When somebody brings in renewable energy from group captive units from outside Kerala, the government should waive grid support charges and cross subsidy charges”.
