HPCL shares up 1.86% as Sensex rises

Shares of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. gained 1.86 per cent to Rs 299.1 in Wednesday’s session as of 10:55AM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 423.56 points higher at 56886.71.

Earlier in the day, the stock witnessed a gap up start to the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 354.55 and a 52-week low of Rs 226.9 on NSE. Around 168323 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:55AM (IST).
