HPCL shares gain 0.7% as Sensex rises

Shares of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd NSE -1.71 %. traded 0.7 per cent up at Rs 221.7 at 11:36AM (IST) on Tuesday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 56.35 points to 57201.57.

The scrip had settled at Rs 220.15 in the previous session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 354.55 and 52-week low of Rs 206.7, respectively. As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 11:36AM (IST) stood at 39334 shares with a turnover of Rs 0.87 crore.
