HPCL shares drop 5.14% as Sensex rises

Shares of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd NSE -1.01 %. traded 5.14 per cent down at Rs 242.9 at 02:04PM (IST) on Wednesday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 138.96 points to 54457.43.

The scrip had closed at Rs 256.05 in the previous session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 354.55 and 52-week low of Rs 238.8, respectively. As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 02:04PM (IST) stood at 246031 shares with a turnover of Rs 6.06 crore.
