House panel raises concern over safety of Airbus 320neos

NEW DELHI: The parliamentary standing committee on transport, tourism and culture has raised concerns over the safety of operating Airbus 320 (neos) that are fitted with Pratt & Whitney engines.

Committee chairman TG Venkatesh raised this at a meeting held on February 20. “Concerns were raised over safe operations of Airbus 320 (neo), but those concerns were addressed by the government representatives,” said an official who was part of the meeting.
