Hollongi, Arunachal’s first full-fledged airport, to take off on August 15

The Greenfield Airport at Hollongi near state capital Itanagar, the first full-fledged airport of Arunachal Pradesh, is set to get operationalized on Independence Day this year, well ahead of its November 2022 date of completion.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu in a joint-inspection visit to the site along with Governor B D Mishra on Tuesaday, announced that preparations are in place to receive the first-ever passenger flight on August 15.
