Hit-and-run on Western Express Highway kills 26-year-old motorcyclist

MUMBAI: A 26-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run incident on the Western Express Highway (WEH) at Goregaon East early on Tuesday.

The victim’s sister registered a complaint at Vanrai police station. Kiran Varrier was on his motorcycle on the south-bound arm of the WEH near Mahananda Dairy bus stop when an unknown vehicle crashed into him, according to the police. His sister, Neha, was home when she received a phone call about the crash an hour later.
