Hindalco buys 26% in renewable energy company to power smelter in Odisha
MUMBAI: Hindalco Industries has bought a 26% stake in renewable energy company Ayana Renewable Power Four for 1.62 crore rupees as it looks to supply its smelter in Odisha with 100 MW of round-the-clock energy.
Bengaluru-based Ayana Renewable, which was incorporated in 2019, is majorly owned by National Infrastructure and Investment Fund, and had a 5 GW energy portfolio as on March, 2023.
