Himachal Pradesh rail infrastructure: Projects worth Rs 13,168 crore in progress; aims to give new impetus to railway infrastructure

Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Monday (February 26) informed that railway projects amounting to Rs 13,168 crore are currently in progress within the state, aiming to fortify the rail network and enhance its infrastructure.

The information was shared by Shukla at an event at the Baijnath Paprola railway station in Kangra district.

During the event, Shukla highlighted that the station is slated for renovation under the ‘Amrit Bharat’ scheme, anticipating an upswing in tourist footfall in Shiv Bhoomi Baijnath.
