Himachal Govt allots 3 Hydro Projects to SJVN in Chenab Basin
Chairman and Managing Director, SJVN, Nand Lal Sharma on Thursday expressed gratitude to Himachal CM Jai Ram Thakur and State Govt for allotting three projects of 501 MW capacity in Chenab Basin in the state. The Cabinet meeting chaired by the Chief Minister has allocated 104 MW Tandi, 130 MW Rashil and 267 MW Sach Khas Hydro Electric Projects on the Chenab Basin to SJVN which is already developing three Projects — 430 MW Reoli Dugli, 210 MW Purthi & 138 MW Bardang Hydro Electric Projects in Chenab Basin. With allocation of these three Projects SJVN now has six Projects with a total capacity of 1279 MW in Chenab Basin.
