Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari calls for reducing road construction cost by 25%

NEW DELHI: Union minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari has called for reducing the cost of road construction by 25%, and identifying modern and green technologies that contribute towards the aim.

Gadkari launched a mobile app to monitor the plantations through geo-tagging and web-based GIS enabled monitoring tools, a government statement said on Friday.
